Recording[edit | edit source]
As noted with album announce, *Happiness Not Included was recorded during 2020 lockdowns, with Dave Ball and Marc Almond working separately on music and lyrics in different studios.
Release[edit | edit source]
Both CD single and vinyl EP were announced on 7 October, 2021, with the title song being available as digital single.[1][2] Initial date of CD release was stated to be 26th November,[3] but due to manufacturing delays it was postponed to February 2022,[4] with ‘B-side’ track “Vapourise” getting early digital release on December 17th.[5][6] The single was out in February 18th.

This time the recolored photograph focuses closer on cabins of the wheel. Same artwork goes for digital single and vinyl EP. The design is credited to James McWilliam, idea by Chris Smith, photographer is unknown.
