Record and release[edit | edit source]
The duo was performing the song on early live shows.[1] In 1980 it was recorded at Leeds Polytechnic's studio for their debut record Mutant Moments EP.[2]
The track later appears in 2005 on The Bedsit Tapes compilation with other early Soft Cell demos, then in 2018 on Keychains And Snowstorms box set as remaster.

Remix[edit | edit source]
A remix of the song by Dave Ball, titled ‘Demo Dub’, was released on Keychains And Snowstorms box set, as part of “Non-Stop Euphoric Dubbing” mix on CD7. It is in fact an instrumental version with re-recorded main melody and samples of Almond's “Isn't that you one the screen?” line from “Seedy Films”, at the beginning, and chorus from original version.

Live recordings of the song appeared on bootleg records, but one officially released recording belongs to video of Soft Cell's 1981 show in Leeds, on Keychains And Snowstorms box set.
